RETIREMENT AWARD   

The CSI Africa Risk Management Team is both over-joyed and saddened to bid farewell to one of its’ most dedicated and committed stalwarts – Mr RICHARD WILLIAM VAN WYK, who has finally decided to begin his well-earned retirement effective Sept. 2020. Mr van Wyk has spent the best part of 27 years in the security industry in various positions, the last two decades being associated with the CSI Management Team moving from the Knight Security Group in the late nineties, into the Command Holdings Group and then on to CSI. Mr van Wyk has spent 35 years playing the saxophone in his church marching band and has spent much time touring the country demonstrating his abilities in that regard. He was presented with his ‘gold watch’ at a small and private ceremony hosted at the headquarters of CSI Africa in their suite of offices in the Helderberg Basin. CSI wishes Mr van Wyk all the very best for the future and a happy life.

The CSI Africa Risk Management Team is both over-joyed and saddened to bid farewell to one of its’ most dedicated and committed stalwarts – Mr RICHARD SAAL, who has finally decided to begin his well-earned retirement effective Sept. 2020. Mr Saal has spent the best part of 26 years in the security industry in various positions, the last 11 years working with us at CSI. Richard spent some time studying at the University of Western Cape (UWC) to obtain his teaching degree many years ago but did not serve in the education industry. He was presented with his ‘gold watch’ at a small and private ceremony hosted at the headquarters of CSI Africa in their suite of offices in the Helderberg Basin. CSI trusts Mr Saal gets all the relaxation he deserves and wishes him well for the future.

RETAIL SERVICE AWARD

We are proud to announce the presentation of the CSI Africa Risk Management – ‘Award for Service Excellence’, to Snr. Security Officer Mrs. Angela Otto-Gordon (center) – a member of our Security Retail Division, by a Snr Member of our Management Team – Ms Cecilia Spire, supported by two members of our Client’s Management team, in May 2019. This was achieved through hard work and dedication going ‘above and beyond’.

We are proud to announce the presentation of the CSI Africa Risk Management – ‘Award for Service Excellence’, to Snr. Security Officer Mr. Mawethu Hemming Oila (right) – a member of our Retail Division.  This award stems from an incident at our Client’s premises earlier this month (Feb.2013), where the Officer concerned displayed ‘extreme trustworthiness’ and ‘strength of character’ while  dealing with a large sum of cash. The Shareholders, Management and Staff of CSI Africa Risk Man. are joined by the Management of our Client – FRIEDMAN and COHEN – STRAND, represented here by the Chief  Buyer –  Mr.  Marko Thiart (left), in congratulating the Officer concerned.

DEDICATED SERVICE ‘CHRISTMAS’ AWARD

Christmas has come early this year (2016) for Mr SIPHO Njani (Snr. Area Manager) of the Risk Management Team, as he was handed the keys to his ‘new car’ this morning by a member of the Team – Ms Cecilia Spire. This is in recognition of the past 4 years of faithful and diligent service to the Group. SIPHO is currently undergoing a strong, lengthy Mentorship program within the Group, to assist in building his skills and capabilities, affording him an opportunity of improving his general operational   and management qualities.

The CSI Africa Risk Management Team is both over-joyed and saddened to bid farewell to one of its’  most dedicated and committed stalwarts – Mr JOSEPH DIERGAARDT, who has finally decided to ‘ride off into the sunset’ and begin his well-earned retirement. He served his country as an Officer of the former SADF SAKK Regiment, followed by many years in the security industry working with the Knight Security Group, Command Holdings and finally, with CSI since 2006. Mr Diergaardt was presented with the obligatory ‘gold watch’ together with a sizable donation towards his Provident and Retirement Fund, by the CSI Management, at an informal ceremony at the Head Quarters of CSI Africa Risk Management in the Strand, Cape Town this morning – Thursday 17th November 2016.  ‘Fare-thee-well’ Mr Diergaardt and we all wish you the very best and many, many more years of good health and happiness.
