Position: 2 x Mobile Security Supervisors (‘Inspectors’)
Grade: C to A
Remuneration: C – Grade (Area One)
Location: Helderberg (self posting to the STRAND)
Shift rotation: Nights & weekend day-shifts MOSTLY – in relation to operational needs.
SKILLS:
- Guarding experience will be an advantage but not necessarily a ‘deal breaker’.
- Excel / Word – understanding
- Comfortable with radio / cellular / land-line communications (good telephonic / radio demeanor)
- Drivers’ license – code 08 (clean driving record – license 3 years or older)
- Willing to be electronically monitored at all times when on duty and in control of company transport
- Mature attitude, patient and understanding
- Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ and ‘get your hands dirty
- Happy to learn, teach, guide, mentor, supervise and manage others
- Multi-tasking essential – thinking outside the box
- Must work unsupervised
- Self starter and motivated
- Calm in a crisis
- Fluent in English – must be able to speak & converse in Afrikaans (knowledge of a third official language – specifically Xhosa, would be an advantage) but not a prerequisite for employment
- All may apply (age not a factor) if you are physically fit and meet the above criteria
- To start as soon as possible – SUBJECT to back-ground & criminal checks and clear polygraph examination result
